Spinning feels a bit more of a winter-y activity, in a way, and I have also made some really poor roving purchases that frustrate me and send me off to do something (anything!) other than knit rather sooner than I would like. I love the colors, and the little colored threads that were spun into it. I'm going to try that with some handspun of my own. I do not know how you managed to knit it for more than ten minutes without passing out or losing your lunch. But at least it's clearly handspun; there's merit in that.
